Two days of colour, celebration and love. Shama and Ben had a Hindu Ceremony and lunch at Sudbury Farm and a Quaker Ceremony and reception at Ruth Pretty’s Springfield House the following day. There were so many beautiful and poignant moments. From windswept dancing in kurtas and saris to a peaceful and moving Quaker ceremony amongst the trees. But the most memorable for me was how caring and loving Ben and Shama were to each other and their families. By the end of day two, I left feeling elated and positive about life…

Ash and Kewa married in delectably delicious style at Rose & Smith in the height of summer. Gorgeous details dotted throughout the day showed their personalities perfectly. The love and affection these high school sweethearts showed for each other and their families made me dance around with happiness. Welcome to one of my favourite weddings from the 2019 summer. Rose and Smith is such a beautiful and unique venue. And Laura and Ben really knew how to make the most of their space. This fashionable pair started with a first look at Lismore House, then champagne on the Martinborough hills before their ceremony (which included an uber-romantic first kiss!). Followed by drool-worthy food, their favourite drinks, gorgeous styling and lots of chill time with their guests. All topped off with a raging dance floor under the stars. It was just perfection. On a sunny summer day, Ben and Kat married in style at a private property in Martinborough. These two talented friends of mine run the amazing video and production company Wrestler. I was a little nervous photographing their wedding but I couldn't go wrong with perfect weather, a beautiful setting and equally beautiful people. This wedding was so much fun and I hope these images portray the happiness that filled the air. 

This wedding was one of those days that was so full I could have made two galleries. Zaharah and Jono are such a wonderful match and were absorbed in each others company the whole day. It was an incredibly sunny day at The Landing at Homebush in Masterton but that didn’t hinder the celebrations one bit. Highlights include Pippin the gorgeous foxy pup, backyard croquet and cocktails, the most delicious evening light, and a seriously sweet dance floor to top it all off. A wedding in the peaceful Mangaroa Valley in an old army shed with farm animals galore. From the charismatic pig called Lucky, to the seven dogs and everything in between, it was an animal lovers dream. The way they did up that Army Shed was sensational and there were so many beautiful and thoughtful touches dotted throughout the day. Alongside all of the visual beauty, there were just so many good souls. Tearful vows, meaningful hugs, moving speeches and one of the most powerful hakas I've ever witnessed. And some pretty smooth dance moves to top it all off at the end of the night. Emily and Troy are so good together, making each other laugh so hard they can't stand straight. Enjoy this one…

Spending time with this little family was bliss. Sadie was hilarious. Such a fun and energetic baby to be around. It's always so lovely to watch families interact and be themselves in the comfort of their own home and neighbourhood. Plus, there were two fur babies, so I was in my happy place!
